2006 Toyota Tacoma
4WD V6
5 speed auto
181000 miles
How is the sun visor clip held on. When you stow the visor the clip is snaps into is very loose. I tried to pry it off to see if there is a screw, but it seems like that is not it. I don't want to break it.

Unfortunately often wear out like that and you really have to buy the whole assembly to fix it ride. There's nothing you can tighten up or replace other than the entire thing

Its not the visor assemble. It is the little gray clip the is attached to the headliner. The clip holds it fine. Its loose on the headliner.

Try some good quality double sided tape (like 3M VHB).

The "Clip" that it snaps into is loose...not the visor pivot.
