01 accord coupe 3.0 overheating in park

Hey Scotty,

I have an 01 accord coupe 3.0 automatic with 196963 miles. I use it for deliveries and it's been overheating at idle after multiple deliveries. The radiator fans work. My thoughts are either thermostat or water pump. The high pressure hose has been leaking on the powersteering pump and I've heard a squeaking from the area and the trouble codes that are popping up are p0141, p0401 and p0780. Any ideas?

Forgot to mention the heater isn't blowing as hot as normal.

I would guess the thermostat and the water pump too.  Another thing might be bad coolant that hasn't been changed in 200K miles.

Thanks, I just checked it again and there was no signs of circulation and the water pump was growling. So looks like I'm picking up a timing belt / water pump kit and thermostat very soon, lol.

Let us know how the water pump and timing belt change goes.

If you haven’t done one before, make sure all the tic marks are lined up. If you have done one before, you probably already know this!

The last timing belt I did was on a 96 Outback and that wasn't too hard. I'm a little nervous about the cramped space but I should be fine.
