Hi. I have a 2001 f150 5.4. I have my dash completely out. I have installed the new heater core. I have watched a couple of videos about the blower door maybe being an issue. This may be a dumb question but here I go. I never plan on fixing the air conditioning. I just want heat for the winter. Would it be dumb of me to just leave out the heat blower door off to avoid possible issues. Thanks. I hope this makes sense. I'm no mechanic
#1 - if you remove the door you won't get any heat
#2 - you need AC to keep your windshield from fogging up
I was hoping to not fix the A/C. I guess if I'm this far surly the air won't be to bad lol. I will keep the door. Thanks
