Hello Scotty: I have a 2014 Nissan Rouge Select with 117,000 miles with 02 sensor not communicating, I’ve tried the drive cycle with no results. Would changing sensors correct the problem? Thank you in advance for your help.

Have you checked the wiring?

Did you fix your previous problem with no diagnostic communication?

The car went for smog test, everything checked ok except the 02 sensor was told to drive for 50 miles to reset sensor, tried this didn’t help…

What was the specific issue? At first the problem was described as the O2 sensor not communicating, however the description above suggests that O2 sensor monitoring is in a "not ready" status. Have you checked the output of the O2 sensors?

 to reset sensor

It's not really a reset. It's a self-test

was told to drive for 50 miles to reset sensor

That's not enough. You need to follow a specific pattern.
