Hello Mr. Kilmer, I have a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville with the supercharged 3800 engine with about 140k miles. So, the transmission "jerks" in 3rd gear, going into 4th.....only when it's cold. When it warms up (after about 10-15 minutes of driving) the "jerk" goes away and shifts normally. I have no engine or transmission codes. Its been doing this for almost 2 years now. I have already changed the fluid and added Lucas to the transmission fluid and it didnt change anything. I am attaching a YouTube link of a video from an Autel scantool of the live transmission data of my vehicle. I was hoping you could take a look at the video and see if you can see anything that sticks out to you? Anything that you see that that could be a problem. Thank you very much!
Well with that particular engine set up, that way I can just about guarantee the transmission is just starting to wear out internally from that data. Additives can help a little bit here and there but generally with that kind of odds of transmissions do tend to start going out. But if your baby it you never know could last quite some time before it actually doesn't shift anymore
