Would a 03 Chevy Impala with 87k miles be a good first car? Its an automatic with a 3.4L V6 engine and it costs $1500. Is it a good deal?

Generally they're horrible cars as they wear out but if a mechanic checks it says it's okay now it could be a decent car for a while realize that kind of money these days you're not going to get much

No, walk away. Poor engines, worse transmissions, drivetrain problems make it a bad deal. Too bad too, they were great highway cars.
