Hello,
I have a 2004 Pathfinder and as I was coming up a hill I passed a 18 wheeler and the engine started knocking. I don't know if its rod knock or the crank bearings. Where can I order a quality rebuild kit for the engine. I know Pathfinders aren't exactly great vehicles but its paid off with low mileage (98000) so I'd rather try to rebuild it than scrap and buy new.

Have you scanned for any codes?
Try changing the fuel filter first (if equipped), then pressure test the fuel pump and rule out the simple things, before you go rebuilding the engine..

I did scan for codes and nothing came up. I will try the fuel filter and a pressure test.
