Scotty! Long time viewer and appreciate  your works. Having months of trouble with my Tacoma. P0351 prim/sec coil code stalling, no misfire.

Loose wire in Igniter for Ign Coil 1 initially seemed to be the issue but problem persists for months now.

Troubles often when rainy or humid it seems. May you have any wise thoughts? You are the realest!

122k miles, new spark plugs, wires, coils seem good. Problem intermittent

I assume you have the 3.4 V6 but this will work on a 4 cylinder too. Just the cylinder numbering will be different.

P0351 Ignition Coil 1 Primary/Secondary Circuit

You can swap the cylinder 1 coil with the coil right next to it (cylinder 3).

Clear the codes and see if a code P0353 code pops up instead.

P0353 Ignition Coil 3 Primary/Secondary Circuit

If it does you can reasonably suspect a faulty coil and replace it.

If the P0351 still persists, you can suspect a wiring issue.

Here's how to nail that down:

Thank you for the reply! Yes 3.4 V6z Funny thing though that took me a while to figure out! There are no 352 or 353 codes for the other coils. Only 1 code for any issues with any coils. I am going to dive further into the wiring regardless and thanks again
