I have a 2005 Honda odyssey, it was running fine, I parked it for five minutes and it wouldn’t start again. In addition when I had it towed I realized it would not shift out of park. I’ve had a couple different mechanics look at it and they told me it was the fuel pump. I replaced the fuel pump with no success. Also I hooked up a new battery into it and I have no codes present however the VSA! Is on the dash. Can somebody please help me to narrow down what the problem is
If the shifting issue still exists, check the brake switch. For crank no start, follow Scotty's video on that topic.
Thanks, yeah I’m going to pick a brake switch up here shortly. Hopefully that will solve that issue. It’s only a $9 part. Just seems strange that it started at the exact moment that the van wouldn’t start. Seems a little too coincidental to have two problems at the exact same moment occur
