05 Isuzu Ascender Limited 5.3L V8 TCM or Torque Converter?

Hey Scotty got an issue with my Isuzu, I was driving down the road when all of sudden my vehicle went into a "low power mode" state. Not sure it's that's the best way to describe it but it lost communication with the transmission and I wasn't getting anywhere too fast no matter how hard I'd step on the gas.

My Check Engine light came on, my ABS light came on, my Brake light came on, and my dash read "SERVICE BRAKE SYSTEM" where I'd normally see my miles. I had four engine codes pop up:

  1. U0101 Cnf - U0101 Lost Communication with Transmission Control Module (TCM)
  2. U0101 Pnd - U0101 Lost Communication with Transmission Control Module (TCM)
  3. P0722 Output Speed Sensor No Signal

  4. P0741 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off

I'm not sure where to even begin, a lot happened at one time and was somewhat overwhelming. I automatically thought the assumed the the worst and figure it's my TCM or my torque converter. However, is there something here that perhaps points closer something much simpler than what I'm imagining?

Thanks to anyone who helps, it's deeply appreciated!

While I do not know the exact problem you are having, I recommend also looking for similar symptoms/solutions to these two GM vehicles:

GMC Envoy

Chevrolet TrailBlazer

The Ascender is essentially a rebadging of one of these models, depending if you have the 5 or 7 seater.
