My girlfriend is getting her first car as a hand-me-down from her Aunt. '05 Mitsubishi Lancer ES, 160k miles, runs and drives with no obvious issues. I'm curious what to watch out for in terms of maintenance for these cars. It's coming from a warm climate so rust isn't an issue, and the aunt followed the manufacturer-recommended maintenance schedule pretty well. Thanks and I love the show!

just do the normal oil change just change the coolant once every 5 years change the transmission fluid every 60,000 miles and pray cuz those aren't the greatest cars and with that mileage odds are something major old break soon
