This is a weird one to me. I have a 2005 Lincoln Aviator AWD & the driver's side power lock switch for the unlock does not work, the lock does work but not the unlock. So to see if it was the switch, I switched it with the passenger switch & the unlock part still didn't work but the one that was on the driver's side unlock DID work on the passenger side!!! So what gives?? What could it be??

You may have a wiring issue on that driver's side. I would test that wire to see if there is any power going through it. If not, you'll need to trace down where the short is.
