I’ve replaced the spark plugs, ignition coils, cam shaft sensor, fuel injectors, fuel pump, starter, and battery and when I go to turn the vehicle on, it turns but doesn’t turn over to start. What can it be?
What prompted the parts cannon? That almost never works.
See the FAQ section on troubleshooting starting problems.
Crank no start problems can be fuel, air, spark, or compression... did you investigate the crankshaft position sensor?
Oh make sure to investigate distributor cap and rotor button
@7bobo7, the Jeep Liberty doesn't have a distributor.
I'm still learning & just wanted to try to contribute info from all of my past problems/issues I've had to work out😊 which wasnt easy to do on my own... wish I had known about this site earlier, especially when I had to figure out my crankshaft position sensor! That was hard!
No problem, easy mistake to make. I believe the last year for distributors in Jeeps was 1999. (At least that was the case for the Cherokee, which the Liberty replaced.)
I'm so glad I've found this! Thank you Mr Chuck!
