I bought this 2007 honda accord v6 with 139k miles and whenever I go into drive or reverse it feels like the car hesitates to get into those gear it doesn't take long to get into gear at all tho its only like 1 second when it finally does you feel a little jerk of the gear actually engaging what can that be? also whenever im driving bumper to bumper traffic and I get above ill say 25 30mph and I let go of the gas pedal completely and get on the breaks it feels as if its slowing itself down then it gets into gear but you feel a jerk.

It can be that the transmission is dying, Honda automatics tend to be on the weak side. When is the last time the transmission was serviced? Is there enough fluid and what is its condition?
i haven't checked the transmission fluid at all or anything like that. should i check it and will replacing it fix the problem. or you think the transmission is just going out?

i also forgot to mention im not getting any codes at all on the transmission
Most inexpensive generic OBD2 readers won't read transmission codes. A high-end, professional-grade bidirectional scan tool is needed to diagnose transmission data and test internal components.
