Afternoon Scotty, im getting an automatic 07 Acura TL type s with 220k miles from a dealership with 1 owner and it looks and has proof that it’s been taken care of(off of CarMax report). Can you give advice on what I should look out for?
Look out for shady dealers selling 15-year-old cars with hundreds of thousands of miles, and for that matter any car that's been through CarMax. (It's a good bet that many of the bad cars that people "get rid of" here and elsewhere wind up at CarMax.)
As far as the car itself that model has a history of transmission problems and other issues. Have it thoroughly checked out by a good mechanic with a fancy scan tool if you do seriously consider buying.

Don't trust Carfax and definitely do not trust the dealer.
May I ask why I shouldn’t trust the info on CARFAX?
