No they don't sell them here in the United States but I've got Friends in England that swear by those things. Of course you have to live in Europe if you live in the United States you can't get parts for French cars and very few mechanics will touch them

I live in Europe, thanks for the answer

I personally don't think it's a great car, but as scotty said - many people love them and claim they're great.

My own personal experience with Peugeot products of that time has been very negative.

would you say that the Peugeots from the 90s and older are better?

@InfinitiFxFan
Quite honestly, am not sure.
Some 80s-90s cars like the Citroën Xantia have a positive reputation, while others like the Peugeot 405 have a legendary status (the 405 is considered to be an absolute tank, it still remains in production in some under-developed counties even 35 years after it's initial debut)

The 2000s-2010s were definitely a low point for Peugeot-Citroën, they just made total absolute garbage. Literally worthless pieces of junk with so many mechanical problems.
I don't like or believe surveys, but TopGear's survey are usually super accurate (The highest satisfaction cars would be things like the Honda S2000, Lexus IS, Jazz, Accords, good old Yetis and Superbs, Celicas,... so yeah, very accurate.) - and unsurprising to anyone, Peugeot would always be dead last - in '05 the worst cars were the Peugeot 807 (159th) and the Peugeot 307 (158th). looking at the surveys the best ranking Peugeot (a commercial vehicle), ranked 7 places under the hideous, unremarkable, and very unpolished Hyundai Tarjet.

There are years where no Peugeot model has managed to rank above the worst 20% precent.

And with terrible engineering, the worst electronics and automatics on the market - it's unsurprising.

Owners of THAT monstrosity were more satisfied than owners of any Peugeot.

So yeah, I'd say they were somewhat better in the 90s, (with a few exceptions like models with big diesels, the only good AMTs, and fabulous suspensions, and in general some unique designs,...)

Ehh, I'd think twice. Early 2000s Peugeot's had a poor reputation but there are a few still around in poorer countries so who knows? That said, get a trusted mechanic to check it out first before you buy.
