Hi Scotty wanted to know if you think a acura rdx with 175000 miles is good to buy for around 4800 cuz I need a small suv to get to work and I was think getting an 04 honda crv with the same miles whats your take. Also would like to be 4x4 or awd. Thank you for answering my question.
RDX is a good SUV but you do need to be careful buying a first-gen RDX with high mileage since it does have the 2.3 turbo 4 because as they get high mileage they can get expensive to repair, so I would have a mechanic check it out and if it's been well maintained, go ahead with that one. Otherwise, go with the CR-V. 2004 CR-V is a good choice but you can also look into 2007-2011, assuming you can find one that fits in your budget because those are also great SUVs.
I’d probably get the CR-V because it’ll be cheaper to maintain and the Honda doesn’t have a turbo like the Acura does which intern, the Honda will outlast the RDX. Just make sure a good mechanic checks it out before purchase.
Btw, are they both private parties or from dealers?
