Hi Scotty. I have an 08 F350. 4x4 Diesel with 160,000 miles. It has no check engine lights. The computer intermittently dings and flashes Brake engaged light. Then sometimes it doesn't. Any ideas? Your the best. {black}:idontknow:

Ford emergency brakes get seized in place from non-use. Common scenario is it's applied after not being used on a regular basis. It sticks in place.
It represents that old saying...use it or lose it
Sometimes they can be taken apart and unstuck...worse case is total replacement...as far as I know, only available directly from Ford...$$$
