Scott,
lost all refrigerant in the ac system, bought Harbor Freight gauges, vac pump ect. when Im not thinking the low side line and valve from the gauge is working properly.. i was filling the system after a vacuum and when i opened the small r134a valve at the can the low side gauge shot up to 70 lb the compressor would not turn on..long story short when i disconnected the gauge hoses the pressure still read 70 lb shouldn't that pressure leaked off?
ps, yes I will be checking the pressure switch and the comp clutch

This is why I never buy anything from Harbor Freight that has moving parts.
