Hey Scotty , I have an 08 Pontiac Solstice with 120,000 Miles. I recently changed the battery in the car and suddenly my keyless entry stopped working and the tire pressure light came on and the TPMS information on the dashboard lists dashes on all four wheels instead of an actual numerical reading. Is there a module Id have to reprogram?Or what could be my issue?
Well theoretically it shouldn't have made any difference. But sometimes when you replace a battery you can get a voltage surge and that can short out modules. But you might start with a guy like me to hook up his fancy computer and do a total reset and see what happens
My 2017 Mustang did that with the TPMS sensor data when I disconnected the battery to trickle charge it. The readouts eventually came back on their own.
You might need to reprogram your keys. You should use a memory saver with newer cars when you change the battery from now on.
You need to take it to a local locksmith to reprogram it.
