Hi, about to close a deal on an otherwise excellent condition 08 sienna with 88k miles. There are two minor issues though. One is a small patch of rust early stage above the rear wheel less than size of dime and the other is one of the power sliding doors doors not open unless unlatched manually first. I've negotiated the price down about 1600 to 8200 USD and subject to the door being fixed. They said there is no more margin on the vehicle to repair And will call the service department in the morning to see if they can do this without taking a loss.

If they are not able to fix the door, how easy of a DIY is it? And how effective is it to buff out the rust and repaint?
