Have a clogged cat that crack the exhaust.. is there any fix to the cat other than buying those expensive one which i can afford now.. i have sluggish performance won't accelerate wen i press the gas. I'm in georgia.
If it's that badly clogged replacement is really the only option.
@chucktobias I'm in Savanah Georgia..so can't you gut that cat and delete it?? Will if affect the driving?
The good thing is you live in Georgia, and you could use non oem parts, as long as you don't mind a Check engine light.
@nlord I think it's only the Atlanta metropolitan area that has vehicle inspection in that state so it depends on his location there. A quick online search finds that 13 counties have inspection requirements, the rest do not:

@nlord I'm in Savanah Georgia.. do you think gutting and removing the clogged cat 🐈 will I get back the normal driving pressure. Or it's a muss I have to get new cars t thanks. I'm in Savanah Georgia
@rayja I am from savannah, and lived in statesboro up until about 3 years ago, moved to upstate New york. I will let others chime in on the ramifications of removing the cat. I would suggest an aftermarket one, or you might be able to get a junkyard one cheap.
@chucktobias yeah Atlanta is more picky about emissions than most of Georgia, but we don't count the Atlanta area to be Georgia anyway 🤣
@nlord 😆 ok atl
