Hey scotty I bought a 09 f-150 with 187,000 miles for 1,500$. I ended up needing to fix a misfire on the 1st cylinder and since it was misfiring I also had to get a new cat on the driver side. All together I ended up spending close to 4,000 getting it in great condition. Thing was super dirty work truck, and had decals on the front which I think contributed to the super low price. I ended up getting charged for a crack in the transmission pan but I realize in hindsight I prolly didnt need that as I never had any transmission problems or leaks, but I've learned my lesson. Also. I say that they kept all of their receipts for every single maintenance job done on the truck (Used to be owned by a chimney company) Did I make a good investment or should I go about trying to get rid of it?
