Hi, hey when you change a battery on an '09 Honda Civic, does anything have to be re-programmed? Thanks

No. Just get the radio code before disconnecting anything. On some models, just push down the radio power button after new battery and it will unlock itself.

I don't think so, but for your peace of mind, get one of the OBD memory savers from Amazon or other places.

@yaser
Does that go in the fuse box area? I dont know what that is...

No, it connects to the OBD II connector.

@yaser

is there any name brand that is best?

Not sure. I haven’t used any. I don’t think they are that different.
And regarding your question about car manual, you can buy the Haynes manual for your car:

your clock and radio stations. Maybe seat position.

Thank you ALL so much. My Father had has same vehicle, only fully loaded, and heated seats! So he had a manual, and it has some good info I guess BUT I wish it was a full blown maintenance manual. Its really an operator's manual. It was VERY difficult to find a mechanic to check it out..like a time crunch for me, so I didnt. Thanks again.... I will have more questions..
