‘09 Honda Civic Coupe Vibrations

Hello, all!

Just a quick question. I have a 2009 Honda Civic Coupe EX w/ 154,000 miles and AUTOMATIC transmission.

I’ve been noticing some rumbling/vibration that comes from the cabin while accelerating. I’ve looked a little more into and I’m suspecting a faulty motor mount, and I’m leaning towards the passenger side mount. I’ve taken photos, but I don’t think I can post them on here. The motor seems to very slightly lean a little more towards the passenger side, and where the mount seems to be sitting seems loose, like there is a small gap where it sits. The vibration seems to settle down a little bit after the engine has been on a good while.

I could be wrong, but I wanted to ask for your guys’ opinion on it.

See the "Read this first" post pinned near the top for photo instructions.

  1. To check out motor mount charge my video how to replace a motor mount Scotty. In it. I show how you get a little piece of wood jack up the bottom of the engine and watch. If the motor mounts are broken you will see them open up and I'll be a gap as you jack it up
