I've heard pretty much about the problem ditt Hondas 1.5L turbo engine, but never heard anything about the 130hp 1.0L turbo engine. Does it have the same problem as the 1.5L turbo or is it a better (problem free) engine?
The Honda P engine is unrelated to any other Honda engine. It was originally a 0.6L engine made only for China and it’s build in Thailand.
run don’t want away. Even a ford EcoBoost or a Peugeot PureTech will probably be more reliable than that.
Honda has built a reputation but at this point… I really do not know what to say…
9 speed automatics from Fiat, Kei car engines get put into family hatchbacks, heaters don’t work in SUVs and much more fun…
I honestly love Hondas, especially the older Accord I can tell you with absolutely 0 bias that you should check twice before choosing a Honda model nowadays…
I mean fiat doesn’t even use the 9ZF anymore they switched over to a dual clutch designed by BorgWarner (the same guys that designed VW DSG)
But Honda still does, and even releases new models with that unrepairable pile of garbage.
Thanks for input. I'll keep nu 8th gen Civic 1.8 140bhp then 🙂
That’s quite a nice car. One of their best cars ever made. 8th/9th gen civics are awesome 😄 reliable, safe, fun and modern.
(it all went downhill with the CVT on the 10th gen)
