Like I said for years Fiat Chrysler Chrysler Dodge whatever you want to call them it's quality control issues and they do not stand behind their cars
If I had spent that much money on a Demon I would be extremely upset. Like Scotty said though, it is typical Chrysler.
Honestly, on the road the Demon was overrated anyway, couldn't get traction and just spun up, and handled like an barge because it was.
No one could get the 9.65 quarter mile time Dodge cited! Some could get low 10’s or very high 9’s.
On a prepped drag strip yeah you could get that time if you had that special tire set up, yeah. But on anything but a prepped drag strip. Heck a C8 corvette crushed the Demon on street conditions on a drag race on a track according to Throttle House. The C8 does 0-60 in 3.6 seconds according to objective sources not the 2.8 chevy claims.
Meh a Corolla got 16 second quarter miles I would be fine with either whats the difference is the horsepower and that is what the lawsuit is about.
I guess what I am saying is the car is 1 garbage from a quality standpoint and 2. that it is overrated. I mean doing 11.6 seconds in the quarter is still fast but nowhere near the low 10s or high 9's and is basically false advertising.
Also the fastest Corolla I know of is this https://www.roadandtrack.com/motorsports/videos/a33144/watch-this-1600-hp-2jz-toyota-corolla-hatch-run-48-seconds-in-the-1-4-mile/.
There is a guy on you tube, Chevy Dude, that works at a Chevy dealer and owns a new Corvette. There is a video of him running it from a dead stop to 60mph in under three seconds, 2.8 I believe.
