- Hello Scotty greetings from El Paso Tx I have a 2012 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 sedan I was considering swapping the engine to the 5.0 L Tau V8 that is in the Genesis 5.0 sedan or should I look at the Genesis coupe 3.8 Grand touring

swapping attention to being insane job due to different sensors drive shafts transmission computers etc just buy another car if you want more speed
The car has 135,000 miles. Is there any “light” modifications I can do to it ? Like slotted rotors, cold air intake or like a cat back exhaust?

Nah you will just spend all your money and it is an extremly complex job just get a different car there is not much life left out of that Hyundai anyways.

Don't bother. You'll have more in it than you would if you just bought a faster car. Extremely complex swap.
