10th Gen. Honda Accord GDI concerns

Hey Scotty,

Toyota fan here. I like the new 8th Gen Toyota Camrys but I like the 10th generation Honda Accords moreso for looks, handling and performance. All aren't built the same and I know that the 10th generation Honda accords come with GDI. So I wanted to know do you think that in the future they will have carbon buildup issues? And if you feel it's too early to tell then do you think it's a good idea to buy a oil catch can if I get a 10th gen Accord? And do you think that the turbo and motor can go 200,000-300,000 mi + with excellent maintenance like Camrys?

If it has only GDI, it will have carbon build up.

Yes.

The turbo likely goes out before you hit high mileage. I dooubt it can last as a naturally aspirated engine unless you spend some money on the engine repair.
