14 Honda CRV leaking shocks, are KYB any good? Comments?

Can't seem to find a OEM quick strut so I am looking at a KYB replacement for my car.  Any comments on them? Can you recommend another quick strut brand?  I really don't want to mess with spring compression.

Kyb makes decent struts. I don't think highly of any quick strut system. Who knows how good their springs are. I rather stay oem with that.

I like KYB

Go KYB and don’t look back.  I have always had good experiences with them on my vehicle.  You will consistently see them recommended here on this forum by many members.

KYB GR-2 or alternate Bilstein B4 OE, … but skip strut assemblies - ie, retain original springs! Springs used with strut assemblies are mostly inferior, regardless of supplier. Pretty well always not very well matched.

Anyway, … check carefully a ride height of your CRV. If it’s all nice and even, splurge on a shop to reassemble your old springs with a new struts. Trust me on this, …
