hey scotty, i have a 2018 Nissan Titan with 42000 miles, i have to drive on really slow traffic that stops completely at times, after some time the a/c stops blowing cold air, then after i start moving again at regular speeds it blows cold. this is really inconvenient since i have to drive the same route weekly and the weather in el Paso is terribly hot. i took the truck to the dealership and their best answer was that it is a common issue with newer model nissans, and many customers have had the same problem, they told me that this was normal, that the vehicle does this not to overheat, i think his answer is just bs but i might be wrong, over the years I've driven the same route with different cars and this is the first time this has happened. I want to write directly to Nissan and confirm that this is "normal". what do you think the issue might be?
Please do not double post. Thank you.
Temperature from ac will always rise when stopped but should never go warm at idle. I would request an evac and recharge of the system to eliminate low charge as the culprit because since it he system does work it wouldn’t be a component failure possibly low charge or a restriction somewhere in the system
