Hello. I’ve got a 71 Impala with the 350 turbo fire V8 with 93000 miles. I recently changed the fuel filter and pump as well as adjusted the carburetor but the car will start sometimes and then will crank but not start on other days. Help

You need fuel, ignition source, and oxygen to make it run. You also need proper timing, good compression, the proper amounts of fuel and oxygen, good exhaust, strong spark that lasts the proper length of time, and lots, lots more.

In addition, you probably have more than 1 issue.

What I'm trying to say is, without knowing all existing conditions, it's almost impossible to provide a correct answer.

I'd just start a process of elimination, check everything, fix what is bad, and eventually it will work. After all, it's just a machine.
