I have a 1979 Ford thunderbird 351m and the original 2 speed wiper switch broke, I was wondering if I could replace it with a 2 speed switch with delay from a 1989 Ford f-250 .

Test the F250 switch with a test light to make sure the terminals are the same. If it is, and it fits, then I don't see why not.

To convert it to delay wipers will require the switch, a wiring harness, and a control box. There are aftermarket universal switches and control boxes available. Aftermarket box will have wiring diagram for hookup.
