Scotty, I just started following your YouTube channel and I am loving it. As a younger man I owned a 77 LTD as my first car and I loved it. I now own a 13 Sonic which I will be sending to my son this April. I recently purchased another 77 Ford LTD with 22,500 milles on it as intend this to be my daily driver as I only live 3 miles from my work and bike in every day. I have had it checked out by a mechanic friend of mine and he is quite impressed with the condition of the car. My biggest concern is ethanol and I intend to run Stabil as I will not drive it every day. What recommendations would you advise to maximize the life of this drive train as I love how these cars ride and drive.

Regards. Lance

One thing for sure - Find a gas station that sells ethanol-free gas.  They are all over the place here in San Antonio.  They will have a separate pump nozzle.  Cool thing is that they are usually around 90 octane, which your carburetor will like.  (I do this for my 1985 Pontiac Parisienne - 23k original miles) Also remember back to your first one. If you take it somewhere to get the oil changed, remind the tech to thoroughly check and fill all the grease fittings. Younger oil change techs don't always look for those, as newer cars have far fewer of these.
