I had to replace bulbs in instrument cluster. I disconnected battery, removed airbag steering wheel, completed replacement of bulbs. Reconnected everything but then had airbag light remain on. Used a diagnostic tool to reset light (later learned tool was incompatible with my car). Car was then and since in a crank but no start condition. EML light remains on even after swapping EML and DME modules. What am I missing?
P.s. already swapped computer modules. No change in issue.

Sounds like you lost communication with the key.... Might have to have it re synced to the DME..
