Hey Scotty I'm planning on getting a 1988 Dodge Aries K LE Wagon with the Chrysler 2.5 l four-cylinder engine with four-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.what are the things do I need to look out for and need to know whenever I buy this car. I don't want to crossover or an SUV I want a good station wagon a front-wheel drive station wagon from the 1980s and I've also contemplated on getting 1985 Chevrolet Celebrity Eurosport Wagon one preferably with the V6 and automatic transmission as well which in your opinion do you feel is the better station wagon?
That non-turbo engine is fine and the trans are OK too. These cars failed in every other component and its hard to find any still on the road. This was still the Chrysler recovery period where the cars were made of the cheapest materials. Every one lost the paint within a few years. Brake components rusted to dust. Lots of love needed to keep these running
