So the search for my first car is finally over. I ended up buying a 1990 Chevy Celebrity (3.1L V6) station wagon for $1150. And I was curious to know what you guys think of the car as a whole because i’ve never even heard of that model until I bought it.
(Sidenote: even with the the high mileage it runs great I can tell it was taken care of by the previous owners!!)
While I don't care for the styling, mechanically they can be ok cars. I just hope you don't plan on putting a ton of miles on it at that age.
I mean the odometer is currently at 315,000 miles but I’m really only using it to get me to work but I do plan on babying it because some sick part of me wants to push it to 400,000
Wow. Well, I hope it makes it. You've got the right idea though. Just go as easy on it as you can and do whatever maintenance is needed. Who knows...it may get there.
