I have a 2008, Landrover LR2, 143,000 miles. I have recently replaced, PCV valve, Mass Airflow sensor, Front O2 Sensors, Air Filter, Oils Change. These parts were changed out because of a persistent P0171 and p0174. The lean condition seems to be ok, now. I still have a weird lurching of the vehicle after it is running for 15 to 20 minutes. It runs fine at first and then as it gets warmed up it will have funny shifting patterns. Like from 2nd to 3rd gear. I can sense the lurch coming so I let off the gas pedal. I have a code reader and it has been such a money saver, but this issues seems to elude the reader. My thoughts are that it may need a software update. Your thoughts?
First thoughts I think you're insane for only one of those Land rovers that are endless money pits as they age. And the guys who work on them have so much expensive equipment they charge you a fortune just open the hood. But you could get your VIN number called the dealer see if there are any software issues that need updating and pray it's that though I kind of doubt it. They get that all they tend to fall apart electronically and only a guy with a Land Rover dealer computer could generally ever fix and they charge like $180 an hour labor
