I have changed fuel filter, fuel pump and sock, tune up and coil and distributor coil. Mechanic cannot find why intermittent miss more noticeable on large hills. Good spark and fuel injectors are good. Only happens once in awhile when on trip and if i give it gas when miss starts van will shake like going over speed bumps until gas let off. I have no check engine lights are codes. Recently told to disconnect o2 upstream oxygen sensor. thanks mike

Well when your accelerating up a large hill that's putting a full load on the engine at any problem will accentuate itself. But commonly a clogged fuel filter are a weak fuel pump. Will do that cuz it needs full fuel and if it can't do that it'll have problems going up hills so test that first
I have changed fuel filter, fuelpump and sock and did tune up with plugs, wires, distributorcap and rotor new coil and coil in distributor. mechanic said spark and injectors good. Only does it intermittently on a long trip. Mechanics cant find problem. I was told to disconnect oxygen sensor but van rv is stored until spring. Do you think this will help
