I have a 1990 ford BRONCO II back in agust of this year My Broncos stopped working
It would not start even with ether at first I thought it was not getting a spark I replace the coil and tested the coil wire and a spark plug I was getting spark but it still was not starting I troubleshooted the problems and replace the TFI module and I thought starter motor was legging so I replace the starter motor the battery is good but not new I don't know what the problem might be I had a mobile mechanic come out to look at it and a new problem of starter solenoid just clicking with a brand new starter motor and a 12 volt battery replace the starter solenoid still clicking what baffles me a couple times I have attempted to start the unit it started I ran it let it get hot and coming back to it after shutting it off for a little while it won't start I don't know what's going on with it now. l need help on this.?
If crank and no start, crank while spraying some carb cleaner in it. If starts. fuel pump/filter replacement.
Its getting gas it is 2.9 v6 fuel injection I think its electrical
Pull a plug and check spark. I'd also check the actual fuel pressure. And you can spray the carb cleaner in the TB btw.... we old folks sometime slip that carb in there instead of tb! My apologies. Let me know about spark and we can go from there. But yea, an ignition module may be the issue but let's check it ; )
Well the mobile mechanic must be an idiot because any mechanic can figure out what's wrong with a vehicle that old they're much simpler.it could be the engine is locked up but even a half assed mechanic could figure that out in about 2 minutes so find a real mechanic to check it out and pray it's not locked up
I hope its not lock up I don"t think it"s is I think it might be a computer besides the tfi module.. thank you for your info..
