Hey Scotty I have a 1991 gmc Sonoma with a 2.8l v6. It’s frame is in really good shape it has 250 000 km but runs perfectly is it worth keeping and fixing up on the way?

If it's not costing you anything then why not?
However, I would start a "new vehicle fund" for when things do start to go South.

It's up you. If it's a choice between a couple of thousand to make everything right or $50,000 for a newer used truck, it's your choice.
