The engine stalls under acceleration, is fine at low speed cruise, cannot get to highway speed. Replaced spark plugs, wires, complete distributor (not just cap), igniter module, mass airflow, tps and adjusted, coil, o2, pressure regulator and even ECU. Fuel pressure is 35 psi. Did not find any breaks in the wires when I went through the harness. Tested all wires for continuity and all were fine. Tested them according to the FSM and were within range. Getting code 14 and 31. This started happening 4-5 weeks after I replaced the head. The old head was not cracked, it was just carboned up and decided to replace it with a new one instead of having a machine shop go through it. I can't think of anything else and at my whits end. Thanks Mike
well you say fuel pressure is fine but you also have to test fuel volume it may have enough pressure but be weak and not push enough volume. Also you could have fuel injectors that are just old and they can't spray enough fuel for acceleration. And to top it all off have the catalytic converter pressure tested if it's clogged up and has too much back pressure it will also do the same thing good luck
