hey scotty, my dad has a 2016 Chevy Colorado 3.6 and when it idles around 700 rpm the truck shakes and when its cold i see the fumes coming out and it looks like the truck has uneven idle and shakes more than usual. He said he changed the spark plugs and air filter but it didn't stop. Also when driving below 55-60 mph on low rpm the truck jerks when accelerating. Could you help me and him out? he doesn't wanna go bankrupt by going to the dealer. Thanks

Start simple.
1. Check the fuel filter. Is it clogged?
2. Check the air filter. Is it clogged?
3. Pull a spark plug. Is there excessive carbon buildup on it?
Those would be the three first steps I would take. Simple but you may be surprised.
