I found someone selling a 1992 mazda 929 with a blown transmission as the biggest issue. while i dont plan on buying it currently I am curious as to what is the opinion on this car that I never heard off till now. probably would make a decent project though.

Don't even think about that one they're transmissions were horrendous and cost a fortune tell us where Mazda semi luxury car and back in the day they weren't made all that well

Those cars had Jatco transmissions and as such transmissions were the weak link. Otherwise they were good cars.
