I have a 1993 ford f150 with the 300 inline 6 with 325k miles on it and it starts making its high pitched ping sound as it warms up but it doesnt do it when the engine is cold i thought maybe its the gas so i put premium in it but it still makes the high pitched ping sound i also replaced the spark plugs and wires and the distributor but it still makes the high pitched ping. Any ideas on where the noise is coming from?

Well make a video on YouTube and post a URL here and I will listen I would have to hear. But if I only occurs after it's warmed up it's probably internal where like crank bearing where or timing chain where
