Tried to get a shop to hook up to diagnostic port they said no communication years ago I used the paperclip trick and got 3 codes temp sensor, map sensor,and knock sensor I corrected thease items and replaced computer plug and play only not flashed not getting any power to port should I be ? If so would disconnected fuel pump relay and fuse cause this?

the diagnostic port probably shares a fuse with the cigar lighter
