Hi Scotty,
Really enjoy your videos. I found a 94 Chevy Corvette with 80,000 miles on Facebook marketplace for $3,500. Automatic transmission, and according to the seller the car has “Brand new Tires, Wheel bearings, Breaks, Ujoints, Instrument cluster, Shocks”. Should I get a mechanic to come with me and take a look.
All the best
yes yes yes always bring a mechanic when looking at an old classic car like that because people tend to lie like dogs and you want a mechanic to tell you what shape it is actually in because that's a relatively low price so I would assume there are serious things wrong with the vehicle but that cheap price if they're not major it could still be an okay deal
There is so much in this vehicle that can be bad (especially in the snow belt), taking a mechanic with you would be like getting dressed.
To properly check the chassis, your mechanic should insist on getting it on a lift !
Good luck
