1994 Toyota Celica 110k miles Manual - smokes then turns off
Hey guys. I was going to go check out a celica priced cheap. Wondering if it might be fixable. Owner says it had motor swap back in march but still has an exhaust problem. It smokes then turns off. Any idea what the issue might be? I did a ton of work to my park ave thx to your guys help. I figured maybe I could fix this celica if the problem can be diagnosed.

A smoking 30-year-old car could have any or all of the following maladies:
Burning oil.
Blown head gasket.
Overly rich mixture.
It is not an "exhaust problem", at least not a problem with the exhaust system itself.
Even if the owner were offering to pay you to take this thing away there is a very good chance that you're looking at an endless money pit.
