My brother who lives in Germany is having issues with his 1994 VW Golf 3 230K miles. 4 years ago he had the engine new head gasket, new water pump & all the belts. Water pump started leaking again recently. He notices a loud thump and there is a hissing noise. Any suggestions where to start?
