Should I change my gearbox oil

Greetings Scotty, long time fan. I have a 1995 BMW e36 318i with a manual transmission and 290,000km. I want to ask if it's ok to FLUSH and CHANGE both the transmission and differential fluid or should I just change the fluids without flushing?

Thank you for everything that you do

I've never heard of flushing manual gearboxes or differentials, don't know if it's even possible. They're just splash-lubricated collections of gears and bearings and don't have the complex internal fluid passages, friction materials, and hydraulics of an automatic transmission. Just drain and refill.

There are no issues changing manual transmission fluid. It's just a bunch of gears and levers, and you'll notice better gear engagement. Drain and fill with the correct fluid and enjoy the ride.
